Overview
Our TROPOS chemistry laboratories are equipped with a series of on-line and off-line instruments for chemical characterisation of atmospheric gas- and particle samples from both field and laboratory experiments. PTR-MS and TD-GC/MS systems are used to analyse VOC samples. GC/MS and HPLC/MS systems are available for chemical characterisation of organic aerosols. In addition, we use an Aerodyne HR-AMS in some of laboratory and field experiments to characterise aerosols in high time resolution.
