The first DUSTRISK workshop will take place in a hybrid model in Leipzig on the 7th and 8th of October 2021. This workshop shall be attended by partners from both Cabo Verde and Germany. During this workshop, partners will exchange their experiences so far and initiate stronger cross-collaboration within the various work package activities. It will be an excellent opportunity to prepare for the main field Campaign of the Project.
Dust event
The first dust event of the Dustrisk campaign has been observed. On the 30th of January 2021 Praia, (Cape Verde) experienced a heavy Saharan dust storm that led to orange filters, which are otherwise white.
We are looking forward to more intense events as dust outbreaks during this time of the year are frequent.
