- OLALA – Optical Lab for Lidar Applications: A scattering lab to get the optical properties of size-selected mineral dust in the exact backscatter direction for lidar applications and model improvements
- Multiwavelength polarization lidar measurements
- Algorithm development for EarthCARE using the synergy of lidar and imager products
- Aerosol optical properties and aerosol classification, with focus on long-range transported dust and stratospheric smoke
- Combination of lidar retrievals of cloud-relevant aerosol properties such as cloud condensation nuclei (CCN) and ice nucleating particles (INP) with in situ measurements
- Humidity studies of sea salt aerosol with lidar remote sensing
