TROPOS researchers again among the world's most influential scientists

Leipzig. A researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS) belongs again to the world's most influential scientists. Prof. Alfred Wiedensohler is one of only eight scientists from Germany, who was listed in the current citation ranking of Thomson Reuters in the field of geosciences. Overall, the evaluation of "Highly Cited Researchers" includes approximately 3000 researchers from 21 departments of agricultural sciences via medicine and social sciences to space research. Given more than 120,000 scientific publications from 2003 up to 2013 was evaluated and how many times they have been cited in other publications.
